Data Security and Privacy Statement for Ticket AI

1. Introduction

This Data Security and Privacy Statement outlines the practices of Ticket AI, a Jira app, in handling and protecting user data. Our commitment to data security and privacy is in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant laws. SOLVVision’s general privacy policy is not applicable to the use of this app. Please refer to the privacy policy provided by the corresponding providers of third-party APIs used by this app (see below). SOLVVision is neither a „data controller“ nor „data processor“ under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) with reference to this app.

2. Data Processing

Ticket AI processes data as follows:

  • Data Sent to APIs: When using Ticket AI, ticket information (title, description, and any custom prompts) and the respective API key is transmitted to the selected AI API (OpenAI or AlephAlpha).
  • Secure Transmission: All requests to the APIs are made over secure HTTPS connections, ensuring data encryption during transmission.

Data entered on the app’s configuration page (such as API keys) are stored using Atlassian’s Storage API (see Storage API (atlassian.com)). API keys are stored as secrets and are only shared with the respective API provider for the sake of authentication. Other than that, no information from the configuration page is shared with SOLVVision or any third party.

3. Data Collection

Ticket AI does not collect or store any personal data from its users. The data which is processed and might contain personally identifiable information (ticket title, description, and custom prompts) is directly transmitted to the selected AI API and not retained by Ticket AI.

4. Use of Third-Party APIs

  • OpenAI and AlephAlpha: Our app integrates with these third-party AI services. Users must have an account with either service to utilize the app’s functionalities.
  • Data Responsibility: Users are responsible for any data they input into Ticket AI and should ensure it aligns with their own data protection policies and GDPR.

5. User Rights Under GDPR

Users have rights under GDPR, including access to their data, the right to rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing, among others. Since Ticket AI does not store user data, these requests should be directed to the respective AI API providers.

6. Data Transfer Outside the EU

Users should be aware that by using OpenAI or AlephAlpha, their data may be transferred outside the EU. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of these providers for more information.

7. Changes to the Data Security and Privacy Statement

We reserve the right to modify this statement. Users will be informed of any significant changes.
